Parent Teacher Conferences (Middle School).  These will be walk-in conferences [we will not have appointments]

Oct. 20 – Fall Band Concert 6:30pm Lg. gym

Oct. 22 – 1:45pm to 3:30pm in Teacher’s classrooms (2 hour early dismissal)

Show Choir tryouts will be Thursday, October 8^th from 3:30 to 5:00pm. Just Show up and we will get you done as soon as possible.

27^th annual Halloween Hike is a non-scary educational Halloween hike by the Muscatine County Conservation Board. This is the 27th year and the theme is “Floodplain Friends.” Plants and animals that live in the Cedar River Floodplain will tell visitors all about themselves along a pumpkin lit trail at Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area. Tickets should be purchased ahead of time as time slots fill up quickly. Hikes are Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. First hike starts at 6:30pm on both nights with new hikes starting every 10 minutes until 8:00pm. $5.00 per person. Children under 5 are free.

Due to a conflict at our high school field, the 8th grade football game between Muscatine Purple and Bettendorf Gold on Oct. 8^th, will now be played at West Middle School at 4:00pm (600 Kindler Ave)

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
