Jan. 18 – No School – Teacher Inservice

REMINDER: NO SCHOOL MONDAY due to Teacher inservice.

Muscatine Parks and Recreation Dept. is sponsoring a FREE “Winter Festival” on January 30, 2016 at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. Activities include: Snow pile treasure hunt 1:00 to 2:00pm – Snow Sculpture Contest 2:00 to 3:00pm – Progressive Firepit Dinner 3:00 to 5:00pm plus much more! Register on our Facebook page or call the Parks and Rec office at (563) 263-0241 b y January 22, 2016. This event is free for all ages.

Any 8^th grader interested in playing baseball will have the opportunity to participate on a Muskie 14U baseball team. This team will play in various tournaments throughout the Spring/Summer and will be coached by Randy Rosa. There will be a fee of $125 to participate that will cover jersey, hat, and tournament entrance fees. There will be scholarships available for players upon request. Players will learn the skills and fundamentals that will prepare them to be a part of the Muscatine High School Baseball program. Players can sign-up at the same time and location that Muscatine Youth Baseball (city league) will be.
