Today is a GOLD Day!

Upcoming events and dates to remember:

There will be a parent meeting for any middle school student who participates in swimming.  The meeting will be held on Monday, January 25th at 5:00pm at the high school pool.

The Muscatine Community YMCA will be hosting a middle school dance on Sat. Jan. 23rd from 7:30-10:30pm.  Tickets are on sale now at the Y for just  $4.00.  If any are left, they will be $5.00 at the door.  DJ, Dancing, Dodgeball, Open Gym, and other contests throughout the evening.  Food will be sold for a nominal fee.  Parent Chaperones are always needed.  Contact Amy Hessel at the YMCA, 263.9996 for more information or to volunteer.

Muscatine Parks and Recreation Dept. is sponsoring a FREE “Winter Festival” on January 30, 2016 at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. Activities include: Snow pile treasure hunt 1:00 to 2:00pm – Snow Sculpture Contest 2:00 to 3:00pm – Progressive Firepit Dinner 3:00 to 5:00pm plus much more! Register on our Facebook page or call the Parks and Rec office at (563) 263-0241 b y January 22, 2016. This event is free for all ages.

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
