Today is a GOLD Day!

Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Coach Mueller will be speaking with all 8th graders interested in playing football next year on Monday, April 24 during homeroom in the small gym.

The Muscatine Community YMCA will be hosting a Middle School Dance on Saturday, April 22^nd 7:30-10:30pm.  This is the last one of the school year! There will be a DJ with dancing, open gym, dodgeball, walleyball and contests throughout the night.  Food will be sold for a nominal fee.  Tickets are on sale now at the Muscatine Community YMCA for just $4.00.  Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.00.  We are always looking for parent volunteers to chaperone.  If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Amy Hessel at the Y, 263.9996.

Attention 8^th grade students!  If you are 14 years old or will be by June and would like to make some money this summer, please stop by the counselor’s office to pick up information about detasseling.

ATTN WMS BOYS: Pick up a registration form in the attendance office for the 2017 Boys Basketball Camp being held June, 5,6, and 7. This is for boys entering grades 6-8 next year. Cost is $50.00. Registration deadline is June 1, 2017.

There are registration forms in the main office for the 2017 Muscatine Girls’ Basketball Camp June 20-23. Cost is $50.00. This camp is for girls entering 7^th & 8^th grades next year.

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!!!

Please order your yearbook now for $16. Bring your money to the Main Office to reserve your copy. Quantities are limited.

Stop in the main office for information and registration for the 5^th annual Muscatine Community School District Race for the Schools on May 6^th 2017. This is a 5k run / walk and Muskie Mile fun run. Cost is $20.00 for the 5k and $10.00 for the Muskie Mile. Prices increase if you register after April 24.

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
