The Guidance office has more detasseling applications for those who missed the first round. Please see Ms. Brand for one.

Track Athletes: You can pick up track pictures in Mr. Dobek’s room.

There will be a semi formal dance at the MHS commons Friday May 11^th 8:00pm to 10:00pm. There is a $5.00 charge to get in.

8^th grade Show Choir Auditions are Wednesday, May 2^nd 3:30-5pm. No need to prepare, just show up! Email Mr. Ryan with questions at jonathan.ryan@mcsdonline.org

We have information in the GOLD office for the 2018 Muskie Football Camp. This camp is open to all 5^th through 12^th grade. Stop by to pick up a registration form from Mrs. Hartman

If you are interested in the Muskie Volleyball Open Gym schedule, they are located in the GOLD office.

The Muscatine Art Center has information in the GOLD office about their spring mini classes that you can sign up for. Classes include National Audubon Day, Kid’s Saturday Workshop, Mixed Media Pets and Mini Masters.

Investigation U applications will be taken in the Purple Office. Make sure to get them in! Deadline is May 14^th.

There are Cheerleading packets in the GOLD office for those 8^th graders interested in Freshman Cheerleading for next year at MHS.

Simpson College is proud to announce the lineup for the third year of its summer camp for middle schoolers! This one-week camp is intended for students who like to read, think about ideas, and use their imaginations. All of the ‘major’ classes are taught by full-time Simpson College professors, so it is a great opportunity for students to get a taste of liberal arts college education. Forms are located in the Guidance Office.

There is information ion the GOLD office for the 2018 Muscatine Girls’ 5^th – 8^th grade Basketball Camp. Join Susan Orvis and the MHS girls’ basketball staff & team as they will teach the fundamentals and team concept through sequenced drill work, competitive play and contests. A basketball will be provided for each camper. Cost is $50.00.

Stop by the Gold office for information on the summer programs at the Y. Info on Summer Kids Club and Sports Camp, Middle School programs as well as Lip Sync Battle 2018 and Kid’s Triathlon. Contact Amy Hessle at the Y for more information.

Muscatine Community School District “Race for the Schools” is Saturday, May 5^th 2018

The 5K Run / Walk starts at 8:30am with the Muskie Mile timed run starting at 8:00am.

Cost is $20.00, after April 26^th cost goes up to $25.00. Registration forms are available in the GOLD office.
