Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Musser Library offers ongoing educational Children’s Programming series throughout the schoolyear for all ages, birth through high school. O Baby Lapsit, Preschool Storytime, Youngster Specialty, Mother Daughter Book Club, Sparkplugs Family Literacy, Skeleton Key Adventure Club, and ArtsBuzz are all free of charge and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you at Musser Public Library!

Muscatine Community YMCA Youth Basketball is a developmental recreation program for 2nd-8th graders. The program objectives are: development of basketball skills, teaching sportsmanship & fair play, socialization among teammates & other teams, and enjoyment of the sport of basketball. Only $30 for members and $52 for nonmembers
Registration Deadline is Saturday, Sept. 19th at noon!

Join Conservation Board Staff and try your hand at canoeing & kayaking. Basic instruction will be offered and all equipment will be provided. We’ll meet at Deep Lakes Park at the Lake Chester Boat Ramp. Use the Pettibone Avenue parking lot. Appropriate for all skill levels. Deep Lakes Park, Sunday, September 20^th 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Basic instruction will be offered and equipment will be provided. There is no charge for this program. Call the Conservation Board office at 563-264-5922 for more information.

Due to a conflict at our high school field, the 8th grade football game between Muscatine Purple and Bettendorf Gold on Oct. 8^th, will now be played at West Middle School at 4:00pm (600 Kindler Ave)

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
