Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Sept. 22 – Lifetouch Fall pictures

REMINDER: Friday is PICTURE DAY!!! Lifetouch packets are available in the front office.

Attention students.  Do you enjoy taking pictures?  Do you have a creative side?  Then you might be perfect for the yearbook staff.  If you are interested please see Mr. Yerington in Room 32.  Spots are limited and this is open to ALL grade levels.

And…. speaking of the yearbook – students don’t be left out.  We are doing something new this year.  If you don’t have your yearbook ordered by Winter Break you may not get another chance to order.  So…. If your parents did not pay for a yearbook at registration you need to bring your $16 to the main office and tell Ms. Dee you want a totally awesome yearbook to remember your 6th, 7th or 8th grade year at West Middle School.  If you aren’t sure if you already ordered a yearbook see Ms. Dee or Mr. Yerington and they can tell you.

If you are an 8th grade student who would like to learn about competitive robotics club please come to Mrs. Schroeder’s room 12 TODAY during homeroom.

Students: Don’t forget to check out the virtual backpack for information on upcoming events, clubs, youth sports, art center events and other things outside of school. Lots of fun activities are available for students and adults of all ages.

The office has “Back to School” coupons for one free art class at the Muscatine Art Center. Stop by and check it out!

The sixth grade teachers and students would appreciate if everyone could turn in any Box Tops they have been collecting at home: 6th graders can bring their Box Tops to their homeroom teacher, and 7th and 8th graders can bring their Box Tops to the main office. Every Box Top counts!

For your convenience all athletic and activity events can now be found on the WMS calendar.  This one stop convenient calendar will make it easy for staff, students and parents to access dates and times for all activities. Just click on the “School Calendar” tab at the top right.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
