It’s a Great Day to Be a Central Muskie!

I want to welcome you to Central’s website. Central is a great school. We are proud of our students, families, and staff. We are an innovative school, which is committed to excellence. We love to visualize Central as a family.  We love the image of being a family as it displays a very strong value system which is supportive of all its members. A family sticks together and is nurturing, while still holding high expectations. I believe Central offers students the ability to grow and mature academically, as well as socially.  In this way, we truly exemplify the best of being family-oriented.

Central offers a variety of programs to meet the various needs of our students, including Accelerated Math, ALEKS, Enhanced Reading, Read 180, Pathways, Life Skills, CMS Morning Activities Program, and Leader in Me.  We focus on encouraging positive appropriate choices, through our PBiS (Positive Behavior Instructional Supports) Program, where we focus on catching students making the “right” decisions. We challenge our students to be “Respectful, Responsible, and Ready” each and every day. Central is a multiple-pathways school. This simply means we use a variety of approaches to educate our students. We realize that one size doesn’t fit everyone, so we provide a variety pack of opportunities for our students.
