It’s hard to believe that the school year will soon be coming to an end. I want to thank all parents, teachers, and students for making my first year as Principal at Colorado an incredible year. The involvement and support of our great community continues to amaze and inspire me.
I would like to take a moment to recognize and thank those individuals who are retiring from Colorado this year. I would like to thank Mr. Sessler, Mrs. Foy, Mrs. Downey, Mrs. Barkema and Mrs. Kent for their many years of service and dedication to the students of Colorado School and the Muscatine School District.
May is a busy month. Look for information in this newsletter regarding our Leadership Day, 5th Grade Graduation, and End of the Year Awards Assembly. Also, please be sure to read classroom newsletters, which contain timely information about end of the year trips and activities.
Finally, please take a moment to complete the Pre-Registration Packet that came home on May 3rd. Completing these forms now will save you time in the future. You may return these forms in the envelope provided by sending with your student, or by U.S. mail. If you have questions about these forms, please call the office.
