506.17 Student Recognition and Incentives

Student Recognition and Incentives

The Board of Education believes that recognizing students for academic, behavioral, and co-curricular achievements enhances the student’s school experience and thus serves a public purpose.

Special recognition programs and incentives for students in the Muscatine Community School District may be planned and held throughout the year. Expenses associated with these programs may include refreshments, certificates, letters, ribbons, pins, pencils, and other items deemed de minimis in nature and are age appropriate.
