Welcome to the Muskie Early Learning Center (MELC)! We are so excited to have all of our early learning programs in one location! The Muskie Early Learning Center serves preschool children ages three and four. New for the 2021-2022 school year is a bilingual 4 year old preschool option! MELC is also home to the district’s Parents as Teachers Program; a program that works with families in the home (with children birth-age five). Early Childhood Iowa’s office is also located in the building.

MELC hours for our 3- and 4-year-old programs are as follows:
3-Year-Old AM: 8:30 am-11:00 am 8:00-10:55
*MELC doors open at 7:45 am for all 3-year-old students; pick-up time is 11:00am. *MELC doors open at 7:45 AM and pick-up time is 10:55 AM
3-year-Old PM: 11:35 AM-2:15 PM
*Drop-off is 11:35 AM for all students; pick-up time is 2:15 PM
4-year-Old: 8:00AM-2:15PM
*MELC doors open at 7:45 am for all students; pick-up time is 2:15 PM
