CMS Daily Announcements Green Day Wednesday, December 10th
The CMS 8th grade girls’ basketball team travelled to Eldridge to play the North Scott Gray team. While the first half of the game remained close, the Lancers ended up pulling away from the Chargers, 28-19. The girls played hard and worked well together despite the loss. Leading the Chargers were Haley Jarrett, Vada Fridley, Emmie Smith, and Kayla Scholz each scoring 2 points; Yesenia Love added 4 points, and Macey Rogers scored 7 points last night. The B team played North Scott to a 21-21 tie. It was a great, hard-fought game that was very enjoyable to see. Leading the B team for the Chargers were Lela Schmidt, Samantha Menjivar, and Grace Kpor with 2 points each; Sierra Long added 6 points, and Lily Vela led the B team with 9 points. The 8th grade Chargers finish their season next week Tuesday, December 16 at 4:00 against the Davenport Williams Intermediate School. We appreciate your support and look forward to our next game at home. GO CHARGERS!!!
There will be no morning jazz band rehearsal until after winter break.

The talent show will be Friday, Dec 19th. A final listing of all acts that are included in the show is posted outside of the guidance office on 1st floor so practice, practice, practice. A rehearsal run through is planned for Friday morning. If you specific music for your act, please bring it to the guidance office. PBIS Celebration! Our 2nd quarter PBIS celebration will be on December 19th and we will be decorating cookies! We are asking that students and parents donate frosting to use for decorating the cookies! Please bring frosting (Only new/unopened) into the main office! Thanks for supporting positive behavior at CMS!
