Jazz Band, Rock Orchestra, and Show Choir Students, please check the list outside of the choir room to see what bus you are riding tomorrow for the elementary tour.


Congratulations to Zander Rudolph for reaching the 6,000 page challenge.  Way to go, Zander! (Please announce on Tuesday. Thanks!)


All library books are due May 29!


There will be no Rickard Lessons today as he will be out of the building.


We will have a Color Guard informational meeting for members, perspective members, and parents on Thursday, May 30th at 7pm in the High School Band Room.  We will introduce guard leadership, talk about the summer and fall schedules along with expectations and time commitments.  If you have any questions or cannot make it please contact Carolyn Hurlbut at


Attention students thank you for bringing in cans to your ELA classes this week to help feed the homeless.  Reminder this is the final week to earn your pizza party.

6-grade Mrs. LW 6th period

7th grade- Ms. Denton 1st period

8th grade Ms. McCreary’s 1st period


8th Grade Students – If you are interested in Key Club next year, pick up information outside the attendance office.

There are copies of the girls basketball open gym schedule located outside the attendance office.


Boys basketball camp information can be found outside the Attendance Office.


8th Grade Recognition will be held on Monday, June 3 at 12:00 in the Auditorium, with a celebration following in the cafeteria.

Muscatine summer wrestling camp will take place in the MHS wrestling. Please pick up a flyer outside the attendance office.


Attention 8th grade students!  If you are 14 years old or will be by June and would like to make some money this summer, please stop by the counselor’s office to pick up information about detasseling.    


6th and 7th grade girls can stop by the attendance office to get information on the Muskie Basketball Camp that will take place in June.


**This is a message from the school nurse at CMS**


If your child has non-prescription medications here at school, such as Tylenol or Motrin, it will be sent home with your student during the week of May 27th unless otherwise noted.  

No medication will be stored at Central during the summer months.  Medication left at CMS after June 14th will be disposed of according to federal law regulations.
