8th grade girls interested in cheerleading at MHS~you can pick up an informational packet in the attendance office.
Band students need to meet in the high school choir room tonight with your instrument, white band shirt, and dark pants and shoes no later than 6:30 P.M. Make sure your shirt is tucked in.
Yearbooks: If you are planning on ordering a yearbook this year, you must purchase your yearbook BEFORE Spring Break? That means only 1 week to sign up and bring your money to the main office. Yearbooks will be ordered before break and we will not be able to order extra.
Attention SEA Students: The Student-Led Conference bake sale is next week! If you signed up to bring in baked goods, please bring them on Monday morning to Ms. Gacke’s room–209. Check Google Classroom to check if you’re signed up to volunteer!
Track & Field for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls is up in the attendance office.
The Muscatine High School Baseball program now has an online store available for you to purchase all of your Muskie Baseball apparel. The store has apparel for men, women, and youth. The fifth annual MCSD Race for the Schools – 5K and Muskie Mile fun run will be held on Saturday, May 6th at the Muscatine High School. Forms are available outside the attendance center.
Parents:
Student Led Learning Conversations (scheduled with teachers) are from 4:15-6:30. Students will be leading the conference in only one room. Parent teacher conferences (drop-ins) are from 6:30-730 on Monday, March 6 and Tuesday, March 7. The Student Led Learning Conversations on Thursday, March 9 will be from 1:45-2:45 and parent teacher conferences are from 2:45-3:45. If Parent/Guardian is unable to come, they will do their conference with an administrator. ASPIRE Presentations will be in Room 115.

The Central MIddle School Choir Pops Concert will be held on Thursday, March 2nd in the Central Middle School Auditorium. Students should arrive and be seated by 6:15 p.m. Students should dress up and look their best. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or sweat shirts. If this is an issue, please contact Mr. Tolle. This is part of the students grade.
Show Choir students should wear their show choir t-shirt, blue jeans/capris, and tennis shoes.
If your child cannot make the concert, Mr. Tolle should be notified immediately.

All students are encouraged to participate. This year, students will receive a 50% discount if they list their school on the registration form. A limited number of scholarships are available for MCSD students to cover the registration fees.
This event is designed to promote physical fitness within the community of Muscatine and the Muscatine Community School District. All proceeds from this fundraiser will filter directly back to MCSD students. Funds will be designated to support physical education and student wellness. Special awards will be presented to the business and MCSD School with the greatest participation.

MCSD Race for the Schools is the second race in the Grand Prix Circuit competition in Muscatine.
