- Students: Please use the Commons Door Entrance to enter MHS in the morning. The Main Entrance Doors are to be used if you are late to school, coming from a Dr. Appt., etc. and need to stop at the Attendance Office.
- The Bonnie & Houser Gates will be open from 5 am to 9:30 am then open again at 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

- Linda’s Linens will be having a Style Show during September “Second Saturday” (Sept.9) from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. at 129 E. 2nd Street (next to Flower Gallery). She will have Free, Consigned and New Dresses on display (limited amount of free dresses on style show).
- Fall Play Auditions! The MHS Drama Department will present Twelve Angry Jurors on November 3 & 4. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 29 from 3:45 to 5:45 and Wednesday, August 30th from 3:45 to 5:15 in the auditorium. - rSchoolToday: In an effort to more effectively and efficiently communicate, Muscatine High School will be utilizing a new activities scheduler program entitled rSchoolToday Athletic Scheduler. The program will provide better access to schedules, locations/directions to events, rosters, and changes to the afore-mentioned items. Below is the link to our site — which is a work-in-progress site at this time. Please feel free to explore the site (the Notify Me tab on the right will allow you to be immediately notified of any changes made to MHS events. - If you missed the first picture day, LifeTouch will be at MHS on Sept. 5 from 7 am – 11 am in the MHS Commons. ALL students, 9th-12th grade, need to have their picture taken for the yearbook, regardless if you purchase them or not. Remaining picture date is October 2.
