** Daily News & Information **
- The Magic the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons Clubs will have meetings for students interested in participating on Wednesday 9/4 at the beginning of both lunch segments in
Ben Johns’s office (13-012A, the office with the window by the Auditorium). The club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the commons starting on Thursday 9/5. We have some free Magic intro decks if you’re interested, but have no cards. See Ben Johns or Tyler Wilson if you have any questions.
- Wrestling open mat workouts available to all MHS students. Mon-Thurs 4-5pm in the wrestling room.
- MHS Vehicle Registration/Vehicle Tag: Vehicle Registration Forms & Vehicle Tags can be picked up from the Student Services office.
- Welcome Back Students! Once you enter the building and until the first bell rings at 8:15am, the designated areas you are to go to are the Cafeteria, Commons, or the Library.
- Breakfast starts at 7:30am and runs until 8:15am and is available in the Cafeteria or Library Cafe.
- Student IDs can be picked up in Student Services.
- Girls’ Basketball: There will be an informational pre-season meeting on Thursday, September 5th during Enrichment in Ms. Hansen’s room (11-024). Open gym starts on Thursday, September 5th and runs from 5:30-7:00pm in the main gym.
- Baseball Player Meeting: Students interested in 2020 summer baseball will meet on Wednesday, August 28th after school for a 20-minute meeting in Coach Pippert’s Room 11-037
(near the “Big M”). Fall athletes should not miss practice time and will need to see Coach Pippert to get the information during the day.
- MHS Picture Day: Sept. 9th starting @ 7am in the MHS Gym.
- FALL PLAY AUDITIONS – Auditions for the MHS Fall Play, Miss Holmes, will be held in the MHS Auditorium on Wednesday, August 28 from 3:45 – 5:00 and again on Thursday, August 28th from 3:45 – 5:45. You only need to attend ONE of the audition dates. Miss Holmes is a mystery/thriller with a witty, modern take on the famous characters by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. - On August 27th, Trinity Muscatine Public Health will be administering back to school vaccinations for incoming 7th and 12th graders at our location (1609 Cedar Street) from 9AM-4PM. We are asking that students have a parent/legal guardian, immunization records/nurse’s note, and insurance cards with them when they come. The fee is $19.68 per vaccination, but we will provide assistance with costs if needed. We also accept patients without health insurance.

- Juniors & Seniors – Study Hall Exemption Forms: Any Junior or Senior wanting to be exempted from Study Hall will need to have an exemption form (attached) signed by their parent/guardian. Students are expected to attend Study Hall until it has been removed from their schedule.
