  • On January 16th, the MHS Show Choir is hosting their annual River City Showcase Show Choir Invitational at Central Middle School. This year, sixteen groups will be performing from all over SE Iowa and a few from out of state. This is the biggest fundraiser for our Show Choirs and it is crucial that we have volunteers to staff the event. Volunteer duties include, but are not limited to, moving sets onto the stage for performing choirs, to helping to prepare and serve meals in the cafeteria, and monitoring the halls and report any issues to our adult volunteers. There are many more duties that must be performed in order to ensure this event runs smoothly. Volunteers would work in shifts of about 6 hours, and they are welcome to work more than one shift if desired. This is an all-day event with a fun, high-energy atmosphere and is a great way to network with people from many different schools.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Invitational Chair, Gail Ryan (mgryan2@msn.com) and Co-Chair, Tammi Drawbaugh (tammi.drawbaugh@mcsdonline.org) for more details and a volunteer sheet.
