- Parents of Juniors & Seniors: MHS will be holding a College & Career planning night and Financial Aide night TONIGHT ,Tuesday, January 20, 2015. The meetings will be held at the Muscatine Community School Admin Office. 2900 Mulberry Ave. Times are as follows: 6:00PM will be the Career & College Planning information and 7:00PM will be the Financial Aid Information. - Girls Track and Field will start on Tuesday, February 17th at 3:45 pm in the Commons. Make sure that you have your physical and concussion form completed and turned in to the Athletics Office before that time. If you have any questions, please stop by room AA18 and talk to Coach Falk or email him at josh.falk@mcsdonline.org.
- Silver Cord Opportunity – Madison Elementary school is in need of volunteers for their Winter Carnival on February 20 from approximately 5:00-8:00 pm. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Poppe at jillian.poppe@mcsdonline.org
- Recycle the Dress Event – Prom 2015 is back for the fourth year! We have a large selection of dresses and items for prom for any girl going to high school prom in the Muscatine County area to receive at no charge. It is all about reuse and recycling and there is NO COST for this event! The event is on Saturday, January 31, 2015 – 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Muscatine Recycling Center and Transfer Station , 1000 S. Houser St. Muscatine, Iowa. - Silver Cord Opportunity – The Muscatine Community YMCA is in need of volunteers for the 21st Annual Try Melon Tri Indoor Triathlon on Sunday, January 25th. You do not need to be an athlete or be familiar with triathlons in order to help-we will provide training and instructions for all volunteers. We need timers, lap counters, traffic control, and lots of other help to run this event. Any help is appreciated-earliest starting shifts begin at 10:30 am-latest starting shifts are at 3:30 pm and everything in between.If you are interested in helping out or need more details, please contact Nicole McCleary at the Muscatine Community YMCA 563-263-9996 or nmccleary@muscatiney.org by Wednesday, January 21st.
- Silver Cord Opportunity – Attention high school students. We need your help in making a difference. Earn Silver Cord hours by listening to first graders read at Mulberry Elementary School. Volunteers are needed from 8:30 – 10 am and 10:30 – 11:15 am. If you can’t stay the entire time, that’s ok. Volunteer once a week or come everyday, whatever works with your schedule.
