Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Feb. 5^th & 6^th – WMS Musical “The Little Mermaid” CMS Auditorium

Feb. 15 – NO SCHOOL – President’s Day

Anyone who signed up for swimming needs to stop by the attendance office to pick up a swim packet.

Any 8th grader interested in playing on the 14U Muskie Baseball team is invited to participate in a tryout on Thursday, Feb. 18th @ 6pm in the MHS Gym. At this time there will be an informational meeting for parent/guardians. Participants need to wear PE attire and their baseball glove/bat. Central and West Middle School proudly present “The Little Mermaid Jr.” on Friday, February 5th and Saturday, February 6th. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. and will last just over an hour long. Tickets are available for $5.00 ages Kindergarten-Adult. Children under Kindergarten age are free but are required to have a ticket. Tickets will go on sale at the West and Central Middle School Offices starting Friday, January 29th. Get your tickets early before the show is sold out!!!!

Muscatine Parks and Recreation Dept. is sponsoring a FREE “Winter Festival” on January 30, 2016 at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course. Activities include: Snow pile treasure hunt 1:00 to 2:00pm – Snow Sculpture Contest 2:00 to 3:00pm – Progressive Firepit Dinner 3:00 to 5:00pm plus much more! Register on our Facebook page or call the Parks and Rec office at (563) 263-0241 b y January 22, 2016. This event is free for all ages.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
