Today is a GOLD Day!

Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Parent/Guardian(s) of all 8^th grade students please contact the West Middle School Counseling Office at 263-0411 to schedule your one-on-one meeting with a high school counselor. At this time, you will have the opportunity to discuss your students schedule for next year.  The dates and times available will be Wednesday, Feb 24 from 7:45 to 3:30.

The West Middle School Choir Pops Concert will be held on Tuesday, March 1st at the West Middle School Large Gym. The concert will start at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive and be seated by 6:15 p.m. for warm ups. Students should dress up and look their best. Please No jeans or T-shirts. Jeans may be worn if they are the nicest available clothing choice. Show Choir students will be wearing their costumes during the regular portion of the choir concert. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact Mr. Tolle as soon as possible.

The Muscatine Community YMCA will be hosting a middle school dance on Sat. Feb. 27^th from 7:30-10:30pm.  Tickets are on sale now at the Y for just  $4.00.  If any are left, they will be $5.00 at the door.  DJ, Dancing, Dodgeball, Open Gym, and other contest throughout the evening.  Food will be sold for a nominal fee.  Parent Chaperones are always needed.  Contact Amy Hessel at the YMCA, 263.9996 for more information or to volunteer.

Attention 6^th graders: It’s time to register for the Youth Sports Foundation Spring Co-Ed Track & Field! Registration begins Monday, March 7^th thru Monday, March 21^st. cost is $40.00 and includes your team t-shirt. Stop by the main office for more information.

ATTN: GOLF SCHLORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Tony Robison Memorial Golf Membership Scholarship is open to all students in grades 8-12. The main criteria is the desire to play golf: not based on grades or financial need. The award is a one year junior golf membership at Geneva Golf and Country Club. Athletic eligibility is not affected. Once awarded, if selected individuals do not use it, it will be re-awarded to another individual. Deadline to apply is March 31, 2016. Applications are available at West Middle School, Central Middle School, Muscatine High School Athletic Office.

The Attendance Office has purple NIKE athletic bags for sale for $30.00. Stop by to take a look.
